FCOAO Mission Statement
The FCOAO is dedicated to the belief that each and every issue dealt with by the association will be approached in a thoroughly researched, pro-active and business-like manner.
We believe in actively furthering the quality of service we provide and the devotion to those we serve while maintaining and protecting our rights under a free society and free market system.
FCOAO Mandate
The mandate of this Association is to promote, develop, improve and support the business practices of private care providers.
The goals of this Association include, but are not limited to:
- Promoting standards and best practice for private care providers;
- Providing opportunities for dissemination of information and research regarding private care providers;
- Educating service consumers regarding the benefits of private sector;
- Proactively supporting and promoting the present and future of private care providers;
- Promoting of program evaluation;
- Promoting of program accreditation of private care providers;
- Providing information and consultation to member Agencies;
- Updating member Agencies concerning legislative or regulatory initiatives and/or actions which affect private care providers;
- Advocating and liaising with government and others regarding matters related to private care providers;
- Promoting of program development and research;
- Providing opportunities for training;
- Providing opportunities for active participation by member Agencies.
